FUNDING AND SUPPORT
Our annual budget is approximately $6 million. Our support comes from a variety of sources that include state, county and local grants and contracts, patient reimbursements from Medi-Cal, Medi-Care, and other health plans, and foundation support. We also rely on the generosity of the community through donations from individuals, groups and organizations, and local businesses. Your support makes it possible for us to provide essential health and support services for all members of our community.
The current breakdown of our resources is:
- 45% Alameda County
- 31% Medi-Cal/Medi-Care/CHDP/other health plans
- 10% State of California
- 9% Patient/client fees (primarily DUI classes and court-ordered services)
- 2% Community donations
- 2% Foundations and corporate support
- 1% Cities of Livermore and Pleasanton
Axis Community Health is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. We have a very small administrative staff, and just 10% of our expenditures support administrative costs.
Your donation to Axis is tax deductible. Your donation will stay in the Tri-Valley community and will help us provide essential health and support services for all members of our community.
Axis is also a United Way agency. If your company participates in United Way fundraising drives, you can designate Axis as the recipient of your donation. Our United Way donor number is 3206.
